Great torpedo subs. Only 5$ too!! Super great deal. A little greasy but so are most Italian subs.
As a Boston native, growing up on Jersey, Net Work, Philly, and Boston food, Hungry Lu's has the BEST east coast sub in San Diego. Italian Sub, peppers, roasted reds, Amoroso.

The Italian sub was delicious Mike's Way, with LTO and oil and vinegar!
Long Live the Big Kahuna Sub. Philly Style Cheesesteak with mushrooms, Peppers, Jalapenos and Extra Cheese! Yum!
Ask for the Antonio special! It's part of the secret menu.
5. Hazelwoods
Very cool to hang in the patio with a beer and people watch, & view the Bay. Best Italian Sub too, (ask to get it toasted).
Good food, but extremely overpriced!! $25 for two breakfast sandwiches and 2 ojs, no thank you.

Great selection of craft beer. Definitely the top 4 of beer bottle shops in San Diego. You will however end up paying an extra $2 or so per bottle compared to some other shops.
Best Beer Selection in SD. Paul really knows his stuff and makes great recommendations.

Greasy talent and a thin bottom crust make for a very good Chicago style pie!

The deep dish is a must try! You will not be disappointed. Takes about 45 min to cook so plan ahead.

The deep dish pizza is delish! Can't beat the weekend $17.95 special of pizza and 2 salads. And the to go pastries are to die for so save some room.

Get the daily special for the best value. For the price of a sandwich you get chips and drink included. Otherwise I love the Turkey Munster and Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Great BLT! Toasted with potato salad. Beats whole foods, subway, and other sandwiches on the area. Be sure to tip the sandwich maker.
